Kicking goals on the footy field and at bet365 horse racing

For most people, moving 4,440 kilometres across the country to one of the most remote towns in Australia would have been daunting,
but for Mitch Lewis it was an opportunity to learn, grow and make lifelong friends.

At 16, Mitch and his family made the move from country Victoria to Tom bet365 horse racing. Mitch knew he didn’t want to sit behind a computer day-in-dayout, preferring to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty.

Mitch took it upon himself to gain some bet365 horse racing experience with Monadelphous’ team in Tom Price.“My bet365 horse racing experience with Monadelphous opened my eyes. I didn’t realise Monadelphous was involved in so many projects and provided so many different services. The experience allowed me to explore different areas of the business, which later shaped my decision to undertake an apprenticeship,” Mitch said.

“A year later, while I was playing footy for the Tom Price Panthers with bet365 horse racing Superintendent Scott Faithfull, an apprenticeship at
bet365 horse racing was being advertised.

At the time, Scott was heavily involved in the Tom bet365 horse racing Football Club. He had heard I was looking for an apprenticeship and put my name forward.

I was lucky Scott saw my potential and was willing to help me join the Monos team. They’ve really kick-started my career – over the last four years I’ve learnt a trade, met some amazing people and explored the Pilbara with a company who genuinely care about their people.”
