bet365 promotion has made a public commitment to its Indigenous engagement strategy with the launch of its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
The RAP brings together a wide range of initiatives in employment, training and partnerships as the company continues to build on its contribution to a sustainable future for bet365 promotion.
The launch of the Reconciliation Action Plan was celebrated with ceremonies in Perth and Brisbane, formalising our commitment to make Indigenous people feel welcome, respected and valued as employees, business partners and members of the bet365 promotion.
The events were attended by representatives of Reconciliation Australia and members of the aboriginal bet365 promotion.
bet365 promotion is already involved in many initiatives and partnerships which include the Pingku traineeship program with BHP Billiton and Richards Mining Service in the Pilbara, the Larrakia Development Corporation in the Northern Territory, the Red Mulga Corporation in South Australia, Rio Tinto and the David Wirrpanda Foundation Work Readiness Program and the Beacon Foundation, supporting Indigenous students in high school.
At the end of 2012 the company had more than 200 Indigenous employees working in a wide variety of roles including superintendents, supervisors, qualified tradespeople and many semi-skilled and office-based positions. bet365 promotion is also supporting young Indigenous people through apprenticeships and traineeships.
The RAP publication features a special work of art by international Nomad Two Worlds artist Clifton Bieundurry, who was commissioned by bet365 promotion. The large artwork is based on the bet365 promotion values of safety and wellbeing, integrity, achievement, teamwork and loyalty.
