Monadelphous Group today announced it has secured a major construction contract associated with the Amuri irrigation scheme in New Zealand valued at approximately AUD 58 million.

The project involves the supply, installation and commissioning of a 130 kilometre water pipeline network for Amuri Irrigation Company Limited, north of Christchurch, on New Zealand’s South Island. The pipeline network will deliver pressurised irrigation water from existing canal system intakes to a large number of demand offtakes for farming in the region.
